Soummo BOSE

Soummo Bose, a native of Jamshedpur, is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur & XLRI Jamshedpur. He comes with 13+ years of working experience across diverse roles like Project Engineering, Quality Assurance, Digital Transformation & Analytics. At Tata Steel he has been instrumental in formulating & driving the Digital Transformation strategy and in adoption of Data Analytics as a practice for long term competitive advantage. Prior to joining Tata Steel, he worked at BHEL on design & engineering of a Coal Handling Plant of a 3x500MW Thermal Power Plant.He has served as a Digital Reverse Mentor to various Vice-Presidents at Tata Steel. He is also certified Data & Analytics Target Operating Model (DATOM) assessor for Tata Group and has played a pivotal role in Tata Steel winning the WEF 4th Industrial Revolution Lighthouse recognition.He is currently leading the journey towards Process Autonomy & Hyper-personalization at Tata Steel, aimed at reinventing business processes & experiences for the future.He is a devout animal lover and care giver and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He counts traveling & fitness as his foremost hobbies.
