The Human oversight concept refers to the need to not abandon any autonomy of human action or decision in a context of increasingly rapid diffusion of artificial intelligence. In a transversal way, this principle covers the need not to let artificial intelligence algorithms operate independently of any human insight. The methodology of Human oversight colleges developed by Ethik-IA intends to create a response to the ethical issues of AI by carrying out an ethical and regulatory analysis of the solution, and gather different stakeholders (experts, providers, users, end-users representatives…) to discuss it.
